COVE SCENT LAB #9
Rich, decadent, and unapologetically warm.
#9 opens with vanilla orchid and creamy jasmine wrapped in golden rum. The heart becomes deeper and more indulgent with layers of vanilla, tonka bean, spicy rose, smoky leather, and crème brûlée, before settling into sugared patchouli, brown sugar, amber, musk, and royal oud.

How We Built It
Vanilla is usually associated with softness and sweetness. With #9, we wanted to explore its darker side.
Instead of letting vanilla stand alone, we surrounded it with contrasting textures: golden rum and crème brûlée for richness, spicy rose for lift, smoky leather for depth, and oud and patchouli for a darker woody finish.
The result is still unmistakably vanilla, but layered, warm, smoky, and much more dramatic.

Perfume has nearly endless combinations. In our own fragrance collection alone, we have explored thousands of scents we consider “good.”But good is only the beginning.We slowly narrow those possibilities down to a small group for the COVE Scent Lab. By the time a fragrance appears here, it is already about 90% of the way to something we love. From there, we test, wear, compare, and gather feedback until only our top 1% remain. Those are the fragrances we eventually name, package, and officially launch because they are the ones we and our friends truly love. Until then, they remain simply numbered.
