Bright fruit meets an intensely floral heart, then settles into warm vanilla and woods.
Blackcurrant brings a juicy, slightly tart opening, lifted by sparkling bergamot and the subtle spice of pink pepper. At the center, three expressions of jasmine create the character of #8: classic jasmine, richer Sambac jasmine, and airy jasmine tea. Bourbon vanilla, cashmeran, and guaiac wood soften the fragrance into a warm, smooth, subtly woody finish.

Behind the Notes
We loved the idea of exploring jasmine in layers rather than using it as a single floral note. Jasmine can feel fresh and luminous, rich and sensual, or delicate and tea-like depending on how it is expressed.
In #8, Jasmine Sambac adds richness, while jasmine tea brings a lighter, more transparent quality. The contrast of dark blackcurrant above and creamy vanilla, cashmeran, and guaiac wood below gives the floral heart somewhere between brightness and warmth to live.

In our own fragrance collection alone, we have explored thousands of scents we consider “good.”But good is only the beginning.We slowly narrow those possibilities down to a small group for the COVE Scent Lab. By the time a fragrance appears here, it is already about 90% of the way to something we love. From there, we test, wear, compare, and gather feedback until only our top 1% remain. Those are the fragrances we eventually name, package, and officially launch because they are the ones we and our friends truly love. Until then, they remain simply numbered.
